PILLS × Floatie Ice Cream Public Art Project
Floatie Art Store is an art shop renovation and upgrade project initiated by the Sea World Culture and Arts Center (SWCAC) in 2022. Located in Shekou, Shenzhen, within SWCAC—the first architectural work in China by renowned architect Fumihiko Maki—Floatie embodies the free-flowing connection between mountains and sea, symbolizing the diversity, openness, and inclusivity of cultural arts. In collaboration with Floatie, PILLS has introduced a unique ice cream truck installation that combines graphic and spatial design, creating vibrant, engaging scenes that provide a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. This installation reflects SWCAC’s natural, free-spirited ocean culture and coastal youth culture, while conveying the art store’s mission to “share a relaxed lifestyle.”
